Polpeo’s crisis simulation training provides organisations with an immersive role-play simulation, designed to train teams how to handle the real life experience of managing a business crisis on social media.
Our proprietary simulation software mimics social media channels – microblogs, social networks, news channels, video networks, blogs and forums – while our experienced community and social media managers play the role of the public, responding to everything your team is doing to manage the unfolding crisis.
A social media crisis simulation is the closest thing possible to a real crisis, but with your response conducted in a secure, closed environment. Your team will rehearse, learn and make mistakes in private, enabling you to redesign and improve your crisis response plan.
Simulations can be run for between five and 100 people; larger teams are split into groups of up to 10 people per group.
- Bespoke social media simulations. Our specialist content team works with you to create a simulated experience that is directly relevant to your brand, based on a realistic situation that your team might face on social media
- Sector simulations. These are part of a series of ‘off the shelf’ simulations, based on fictional companies within your industry sector
- Open training sessions. From time to time, we run open courses for people working in social media, PR and corporate communications, marketing, legal and HR to rehearse managing a crisis breaking in a fictional company.
